Tony Fleming, a middle-aged horror actor and sociopath, loves his mother, brother and cat, but disdains his father for being cold-hearted. He and his parents reside in a Chateau-style manor located in a California area called Humble Hill, a community renowned for its ocean views, glamour and wealth. Even so, Tony's beloved mother was found murdered during an unrelenting stormy night of rain and lightning strikes. Enraged, he begins to subconsciously mimic the murderous instincts of a fictional serial killer, Maxwell Samuel, and embarks on a klling spree.
