They’ve fallen in love, the wedding is over, their vows have been made, and now Mark and Analise are anxious to consummate their marriage. They both agreed to wait until after the wedding to have sex, assuring each other this would make their wedding day extra special. Mark has promised he knows the perfect place for them to embark on their new life together, Analise lets him plan their perfect honeymoon.
Heading deep into the lush backcountry, away from friends and family, Analise is excited to see the beautiful mountain majesty Mark has talked so much about. Analise is a city girl who has her nails done weekly, her hair done regularly, and has never experienced the outdoors. Mark is a rugged outdoorsman, excited to take his new bride camping and show her the rustic beauty of the mountains he loves.
Analise is enamored of the beautiful scenery and the gorgeous meadow where they plan to spend their first days together as husband and wife. A gurgling stream runs nearby but Analise does not realize that will be the only place she has to bathe for the next few days. She is unprepared to have to relieve herself behind a bush.
Once their tent is set up and their bed is made, they enjoy their first day cuddling, exploring each other, and making love. Mark cooks their meal over the campfire, and Analise is surprised that their first gourmet meal is hotdogs and smores, but she is hungry and eats without complaint while she dreams of a steak dinner in a candlelight setting.
After a cozy night in their canvas cocoon, she wakes to find Mark is gone hunting leaving her to wile away her day. When she tries to bathe in the open air, she’s interrupted by other hunters on ATVs. When Mark finally returns, the day is marred by his two hunting buddies who join them for breakfast.
As Analise fights the disappointment that she has to share her honeymoon with Mark’s hunting buddies, he does little things that make her realize she loves him dearly and is willing to sacrifice so he can be happy. When his buddies return the next day and end up staying the afternoon and evening, sharing their meals, then spending the night because of too much to drink, she gets angry. Each day is the same and soon she is determined that she can take no more. Mark can spend his honeymoon with his hunting buddies, but she is going home to a bath, a real bed, and restaurants.
Mark convinces her to go on one last jaunt with him, and he takes her to a beautiful log cabin, nestled deep in the pines. It’s the cabin of her dreams, and she finds out he and his hunting buddies have actually been spending their time making it perfect for them to spend the rest of their honeymoon together. When Mark shows her a real bathroom with vanilla candles, a huge king-size bed and a cozy fireplace, then asks her to stay, she agrees and they begin their dream honeymoon with a bounce on a king-sized bed.
