There are many books out there that teach you how to be a hypnotist, but there seem to be none that merely describe hypnosis for those on the recieving end.

What's it like to be hypnotised? How does hypnosis feel? What will I be thinking when i'm hypnotised? Will I remember any of it? All of these questions and more will be answered for you in 'Facing the Swinging Watch'.

Yes this is a short book but that also means there's no fluff or filler. In its basic form, hypnosis is a simple subject although what can be done with it and how it can best be done does take a bit more study and even better with a professional mentor. This book is not designed to take the place of the professional teacher but it is here to help you to decide whether hypnosis (whether in a thereputic or entertainment setting) is for you.

There is also a short chapter on self-hypnosis and it may surprise you to learn what you thought was self-hypnosis very probably isn't!

So if you want to learn how to be a hypnotist, this book is not for you. However, if you want to be hypnotised and you've never experienced it before, then this book definitely is.
