Hunter started his day like usual. Got up, got dressed, and headed downstairs for breakfast. He fought with his younger sister some, and then went outside to catch the bus with his two best friends, Byron and Danny. But while in class something amazing happened. Hunter saw a comet type object heading straight for them and the school. He could not believe his eyes. What was it? And why was it coming towards them? He tried to tell his teacher but she was too old and slow to see it. The object exploded and landed in the woods next to the school. Byron and Danny saw the whole thing too. The rest of the day, the boys had forgotten about what they had seen. But later that night, Hunter heard a tapping on his window. It was Byron and Danny. They wanted to go check out what they had seen earlier. Hunter was a little hesitant at first, but then decided to go. He wanted to see for himself what the object was. He gathered all of his supplies, including his Lighto 5000 and headed out of the door. When they arrived in the woods, there was a light shining. They got closer and noticed that it was a horizontal beam. They got even closer and noticed that the beam had pictures of different things in their lives. Byron goes in to touch one of the pictures, and he instantly disappears. Then clumsy Danny accidentally falls into the light, and then he disappears. Hunter is the only one left and decides to join the boys wherever they went. When he opens his eyes, he is standing in the middle of the hallway at Courage Elementary School. Hunter looks around and spots Danny and Byron looking as lost as he is in the hallway. They begin walking and see a younger Nia. They are all in total shock. How could this have happened? They realize that they have traveled back to the past. They walk into their old classroom and Hunter sees himself. They are in total disbelief. The boys are recognized and run back to the woods to find the beam. They go to the end of the beam and touch the last picture. They make it safely back to their homes.
