Meet some of Michael E. Walston's characters. There's George, a trader who travels the galaxy by himself in an old starship; and there's Lydia, a NASA Astronaut who was abducted by alien nasties many years before he was born. Then there's Entity, an artificial intelligence who recruits these two for a dangerous mission. You'll also meet Amy and Billy Joe, and their new friend Roger, a science-fiction writer on a bender--they want him to help them tell some news reporters about the flying saucer they just saw in the woods, and the two little aliens they met who are going to change the world. You'll also meet Nathaniel and Suzy, who become stranded light-years from civilization. And Maya and Jason, two young Tau Ceti colonists embroiled in a political crisis. And then there's Spraystalker. He's an amphibious serpent on the world called Avernus; his friend Merwin is a human being who just happens to be the Duke of Avernus, although he’s in denial about it. Merwin could use some cheering up, but a talk with Spraystalker always does the trick. When he shares some of these talks with the galaxy at large via his era's Virtual Reality tech, amazing things begin to happen. Then there's Mae Lin Noori, the snarky news correspondent who interviews the unflappable Spraystalker on a galaxy-spanning broadcast. And Barbraluna, Merwin's old girlfriend. And Callaway3, clone of a far-future messiah. And lots of other interesting folks!
