Chae is the daughter of a town Healer who never thought she'd do anything other than follow in her mother's footsteps until she finds herself leading an uprising she never thought possible until meeting Philip.

Emerald is a citizen of Capital City, the daughter of one of the Head Law Keepers, who only wants to maintain a good reputation in order to marry well, but her family name is tarnished thanks to her uncle Philip's actions.
