Iron fossils the nick name given to the antique steam powered locomotives maintained preserved, and operated by the locomotive historical society. When the old No. 3 engine is having mechanical problems it falls on to Mickey, Violet, Britney, Roxy, Tesla, and Molly a group of train conductors to help bring the old train in for repairs, but they need to take it through a route that leads through an old haunted forest and none of their male counter parts are brave enough to make the journey.
