The eternal quest has, is, and probably always will be – how to cheat age and stay  looking young. We all know that deep down we can’t cheat age, but we can thanks to modern techniques have a far younger appearance than our Grandparents could ever have hoped to achieve. The buzz word within the cosmetic industry for the past decade has been ‘anti-ageing’. I will deal with this particular facet of beauty a little later, though the term is pretty self evident. Skin ages naturally for two main reasons.

The first is intrinsic (internal) ageing, that’s to say the natural ageing processes within the body, these can be partly genetic as well as your general state of health. The second is extrinsic (external), this is influenced by external factors, such as, sun, diet, exercise and our general lifestyle.
