About the Author
Abdulbaset Yusef, M.D. was born in 1956 in a village about 350 miles south of Cairo, Egypt. He graduated from Asyut Medical School in 1983, receiving a specialist degree in dermatology. Yusef worked as a dermatologist in Egypt and Saudi Arabia from 1985 to 1997 before immigrating to the United States, where he now works as an internist in Michigan. He has been married for 30 years and has three children—two sons, both physicians, and a daughter in dental school. In his free time, he enjoys reading religious books.
