One day, Jing-Wei, her parents and her little cousin Junjie head off to the Gudong Forest Park for a family outing, where Jing-Wei meets Nuwa, a mysterious guide. But during the outing, little Junjie gets into trouble climbing one of the waterfalls and Jing-Wei must go to his rescue. Nuwa magically appears to assist them and she persuades Jing-Wei to accompany her on a voyage to a land of adventure.
