Dr. Jody Murray, Carter's psychiatrist, goes into therapy herself and begins keeping a journal of her inner thoughts and feelings. Another patient, a police officer, is investigating Carter's drugs lab. Carter is resistant to her suggestions to give up soft drugs. Jody attends a rave to investigate the soft drugs scene for herself and has an extremely sensual and erotic experience.

Should she tell Carter about the imminent danger to his drugs lab? Is there a conflict of interest in treating a cop and the target of his investigation? Is it ethical for her to masturbate to visions of her patients? Even if they are big and strong and handsome?

At their final session, Jody notes that her therapist has uncharacteristically sat behind her desk instead of joining her at the less formal table in her office. Jody’s heart sinks. Shit! She’s going to tell the College that I’m unfit. What had I told her about my last session with the police officer? Damn you Carter—I should have been concentrating on my inquisition, not your drugs lab! Now—
