Jonny on the Spot - Selected articles by NZ columnist Jonny Wilkinson

Jonny Wilkinson is the founder and CEO of Disability Advocacy organisation Tiaho Trust, established in 2005 in New Zealand's Northland region. Since 2013 he has been regularly published as a columnist in the regional newspaper, the Northern Advocate. This book is a collection of some of these articles, hand-picked by Jonny, from those printed between 2014 and 2018.

Born with Cerebral Palsy, Jonny has a unique combination of disability sector knowledge, business skills and first-hand experience on disability issues. His writing expresses his views on a wide range of subjects from the political and social to the human, with the sometimes ironic and often thought provoking take on life through the experience of a husband, father, grandfather and leader of a not-for-profit organisation, who also happens to have a disability.

Jonny's work in the disability sector earned Jonny the prestigious title of Member of the New Zealand Order in the 2018 Queen's Birthday Honours List.
