This book is a collection of unrelated short stories written by the author over a period of several years. "The Blue Lady" was written after Debra saw two ladies at a stop light in the same blue outfits and blue car described in the story. "Gone But Not Forgotten" was written after a powerful 8.9 earthquake struck Japan on 3/11/11, creating massive devastation and causing a 33 foot tsunami. Debra was teaching middle school science at the time, and used the opportunity to teach a 'real life' current event in the sciences to her students. But the hours of research and continued focus on the catastrophe caused her nightmares. She released the horrors in her mind by writing this story. The rest of the stories in this collection are, in one way or another, based on events from her own life.
