KARATE-DŌ - THE PATH OF OLD MASTERS is the thirtieth book written by this author in the fields of Traditional Karate-dō, Budō and Martial arts.

The choice, modernization and redaction of the texts performed the author himself, especially for this occasion.

The jubilee edition includes the representative selection of the most important texts from the total author's opus, including the texts of permanent value and the unusual, rare texts published in books, expert magazines and publications, as well as the texts of the most remarkable lectures from the period of 1977 to the present day.

The book represents the totality of the theme, content and meaning with the book BUDŌ – THE PATH OF ANCIENT WISDOM, and it is published together with that book.

* * *

Over thousands of years of the story/history of Traditional Karate-dō, esoteric rituals have been the strictest and the best kept secret. The very existence of esoteric rituals was known only to the narrowest circle of chosen people who took the solemn oath of secrecy, committing to the lifetime rigorous silence. Every violation of the oath of secrecy (which happened rather rarely) was severely punished, and a violator was excommunicated.

The Solemn Oath (the complete text)

For thousands of years, it is taken before and after each esoteric or mystic ritual of Traditional Karate-dō.

The Ritual of the Golden Snake and the Green Tiger

The most significant master and “technical“ ritual, the “Real Nature“ and the “Internal Message“ of karate-waza of Traditional Karate-dō.

The Grandmaster Initiation

The supreme mystic ritual of “Introduction into the Secret“.
