This is the first book in a five book series. It is the story of a young Menehune (Hawaiian Leprechaun) boy who discovers that he is very different from the other Menehune. He meets some strange little creatures on Koki Beach, on the shores of Hana, Maui who start teaching him about his destiny. The book has illustrations and attempts to teach life lessons. Although the book is written as age 5-10 fiction, it attempts to follow some of the Hawaiian Mythology and teach a few Hawaiian phrases.
