Laura's Wedding is the sequel to Laura's New Boyfriend. Laura and I start making our wedding plans, and we seek out a local church. We find one with the unusual name of "The Holy Church of Saint Mary Magdalene The Non-Virgin, and get to meet its' eccentric minister, The Reverend Popplethwaite. Our plans go along swimmingly until Laura's maiden Aunt Maisie comes to stay for a weekend. When she discovers that Laura and I regularly sleep together, she goes into an apoplectic shock and throws a wobbly. Being very religious and from a different generation, she believes that sex before marriage is sinful and wrong. There follows a massive argument with Laura's mother, and she leaves the house in a self righteous huff. A short time later we discover that Auntie Maisie has been in contact with her own church minister, and together with dozens of her own church cronies, they set up camp in a nearby hotel. They start making nefarious plans to sabotage our big day. The stage is set for a major confrontation between two very different church ministers and their respective congregations over whether this sinful and blasphemous wedding should be allowed to take place or not. Meanwhile, it is left to our whacky outrageous friend Debra to come up with a cunning plan to save the day. There also emerges an ancient Arthurian prophesy about a mystical Red Moon Child who is to be conceived under a Lunar Eclipse.
