This book will attempt to pull apart the reasons we do things behind the wheel not just ‘this is what is required of you’ when you drive. Anyone can steer, right? It’s everything else going on around you, right? There are plenty of books on 'what to do' however, I believe a better understanding of some of the things we automatically do when behind the wheel, will assist in better drivers and ultimately better conditions on the road. Consider this.... no angry drivers, no stressful manoeuvres on the road, everyone happy in their own space and allowing others in their space. I know, I know....a bit melodramatic but if we can all get onboard some knowledge of driving and WHY, this in turn will naturally ease the tension within ourselves which will rub off on the roads, hopefully heading in the right direction. This book is put together from my personal experiences on the road in the hope of assisting others. It is important to drive to the conditions of the road or traffic, for example the speed limit may be 80kph but if there is a thick heavy fog rolling in whereby you can’t see 3 feet in front of you, you would be silly to continue at 80kph. Common sense right? Convert this into a myriad of other conditions you face daily on the road.
