This is a collection of short stories and articles that I have written over the years about poker, gambling, and the like. Gambling is such a fascinating subject - it encompasses all that life has to offer - opportunity, risk, fate, luck, pathos, and alcohol. Some of these stories have never been published, others were published a long time ago, and one actually won an award. Can you guess which one? Amazingly (to me), it’s not the best one. Well, that was my opinion, and fortunately for me, the judges thought otherwise. (I was fortunate to the tune of $1,000, so I guess I should shut the hell up, huh?
