After a lifetime of working for Fortune 500 companies, the author found her entire world changing through disability. A decades long search for the perfect truth, left her with knowledge, but still adrift in a quagmire of concepts. Initially rejecting organized religion through perceived hypocrisy, her search opened her spiritual awareness to other faiths and cultures. And yet the search did not produce the one right religion for the world. But through the struggle, she did find the right one for her. She challenges her readers to create intentional legacies, to listen to the Voice, and to use the spiritual gifts we are given with a servant's attitude. More than that, Sharon gives some simple tests to help validate spiritual truths. Her purpose is to open minds and spiritual thinking so that it becomes a continual process. With biblical quotes, she weaves together a fabric of faith, that shows the expansion from Jewish, to fundamental Christian, to what she calls Christian Plus. Many New Age thinking people use their spiritual gifts without the historical basis of how they got them. She even addresses unconventional views of how the Christian Rapture could play out. While this book is rich with tenets of the Christian faith, including the first and second covenant, it is also a walk in life's changes and adapting to those challenges, while continually leading by example. If you take only one thing away from the book, she would want it to be that "God's Will and Timing are perfect." This is not your typical Christian book, nor can it be described as purely spiritual, the read spans the gambit of how to set living examples (or legacies) with family, friends, and strangers.
