The time for change had finally arrived. Little could anyone imagine how the events surrounding the lives of Darryn Red Horse, a humble Native American , and John Maynard, Republican presidential candidate, would work to change the lives of individuals and a nation as a whole.

Red Horse and Maynard met while attending M.I.T., where Red Horse got his PhD. in physics/LASER engineering, and Maynard got his in Poli-Sci. Red Horse worked at the local high-energy laser manufacturing company, engineering systems and parts for Lawrence Livermore National Labs’, National Ignition Facility. (N.I.F.). N.I.F. is researching and studying hot nuclear fusion energy. Red Horse was doing research on his own, and he had found a way to sustain hot nuclear fusion in a controlled environment. Super Computer modeling had proved it! The repercussions would be immense. He took his findings to his best friend in collage and Republican presidential candidate. Together, they had plans to change the world.

Rachael Lancaster had paid her dues, ‘in spades’. She had joined the Army out of high school, became an M.P. and excelled. However, when she got out, she had left some business unfinished in Iraq. When she took the test for the FBI, she passed and rose rapidly through the ranks to be one of their most prized agents. Maynard’s assassination was going to be just another in a long stream of gold stars in Rachael’s file, she thought.

Robert Edlestone controls the world’s largest energy company Global Energy Resources Inc.(G.E.R.I.) His rise to power in G.E.R.I. had been through contacts and cunning. He’s a shark. Edlestone would do anything to protect his corporation, and he did.

‘LETTING GO’ is an intriguing story about individuals, and society as a whole, having the strength of character, and courage to let go of the bad habits, and baggage of the past, and move forward into a brave, new future that is very real, very bright, and very near.
