There is no peace, no hope, no love for some people, for people to whom life offers nothing but - unhappiness, misery, sorrow....
Dina’s life is the worst story I have ever heard. It is like one of those stories that are spread to strike you with fear that all the bad things that are mentioned in them might happen to you as well...
But, after all, there is one thing I am definitely sure of - I fell in love with Dina at the first sight.
Today I know everything about her, every detail of her story, her every memory. I wanted to share it with other people, although my friends have been against that, because they think that some details are too disgraceful. But I know that certain things should not be kept secret and that is why I have been persistent to persuade Dina to save this story from oblivion - because of every woman who might suffer the same fate, because of all the children whose childhood and joy have been taken from them forever. Because of every man who has power to protect or ruin someone’s life.
Dina told me once: “You are my protector. I’ve got you as a present. I could have been alone forever, left to lick my wounds and rot in some cave abandoned and forgotten. But, I got everything, and more than I have ever expected - with you, our children, our life - more than it has been stolen from me severely. That’s why I am so grateful; with all my heart I am grateful.”
And I am grateful to her for having so brave and big heart to share this story with the world - Alexius.
