Many friends that knew us would come up to us and say, What an inspiration you are to us in your faithfulness to each other. That was a humbling expression to me. After Sonja died, I thought that there just might be a story to tell. Not only about how the disease affected her personally but how we handled the effects the disease had on our marriage.
