Loki is a sly trickster and a devilishly playful character from Norse mythology. He stands out among the other gods as being highly intelligent and inventive, but even he has his own major issues to face. As chaos, the world itself seems to be Loki's own playground. Still, Loki must not be regarded as a totally negative entity. Instead, he is a type of being which has inspired many mortals, a neutral entity to be exact. Loki does both good and evil and, yet he is beyond both. So, one question arises: Is this entity of mischief truly bound by the Gods somewhere in the depths of the earth or is he roaming the world, reigning from the shadows?

The current book starts from the origins of Loki and his position in Norse mythology where he occupies a highly special place. Loki is the grey between black and white, he is the twilight between day and night. In this regard, he is both light as well as darkness, but he is of neither. To this day, Loki remains an intriguing character with an even more intriguing biography as it is presented by the current book.
