The CEO thinks for a few moments more and replies, “Okay, nobody, Mr. James Till, is really somebody.”
The District Attorney sighs again and lectures, “Nobody Mr. James Till, is somebody, because he has several million dollars. Nobody Mr. James Till, is also nobody, because he’s a computer programmer and he deals with machines and logic, not people. You are a politician. You deal with people. Nobody Mr. James Till is nobody, because he doesn’t give a damn about people. Nobody Mr. James Till, is a computer programmer and he has had to become a hermit, to survive. Nobody, programmer, hermit Mr. James Till will leave your dead flat broke self and family in the middle of a dirty bum town street, without a backward glance.”
The CEO thinks for a few moments more and replies, “Messing with Mr. James Till was a really bad mistake.”
The District Attorney sighs again and lectures, “Let me try to prevent you from making an even worse mistake. In order to civilize nobody Mr. James Till, his real lawyer has gotten him dating a lady. The lady that nobody Mr. James Till is dating is the daughter of the man that they call Baron. The punk who hassles Baron’s daughter will wind up in a ditch, at the edge of town, with a bullet in the back of his head. The punk who harms Baron’s daughter will wind up doused with gasoline and burning, after he watches the rest of his family burn.”
The CEO thinks for a few moments more and replies, “Messing with Mr. James Till was a really bad mistake. Messing with Baron would be a really, really bad mistake.”
The District Attorney snarls, “Messing with Baron would be a fatal mistake.”
The CEO thinks for a few moments more and asks, “Are you going to talk with Billy, my former employee?”
The District Attorney snarls, “As soon as I leave here.” The District Attorney then leaves.
The CEO thinks for a few moments more and then he picks up a phone.
