This book. It is odd. It makes little to no sense at times. Also may seem dark. This is all a jumble of my actions, thoughts, and emotions put in words and random pictures I drew myself. The reason? Depression. I’ve lived though some darkness, some experiences that were really bad, and some not so bad. But in the end those experiences may have no meaning or connection to anyone out there.

The one thing the poems all have in common, is they were all written during lows. Moments of intense darkness. Oddly some aren’t that dark considering. My main reason for exploiting my mind is really something that I struggled with my entire life. The concept of “alone”. And I hope that my dark thoughts help at least one of you realize that you are not.

Even in the darkest, most painful, most lonely times of your life just know, that there are lots of us in those same shadows as you. And despite our darkness and demons, we get you, and are here for you, even if just to sit with you among the shadows.
