We live in a world where everything gets distorted. Sometimes it is unintentional, due to the passage of time and the minds inability to accurately recall the real facts. Sometimes it is on purpose, whether to feed an ego, improve ones image, realize financial gain or to control others. Sometimes it is a combination of these.
