After walking with Bobby for short distance we fell to the ground. Ladda and I were both screaming in pain. Bobby fell on top of us and was crying as I had never heard him cry before.“Stay with me,” he begged. “You must stay with me because I love both of you. I’m going to get us out of here now.”Bobby ran to gather up some rope we had previously left by the lake. He wanted to make sure we would not change our minds and tied us together. Then he persuaded us to walk just a short way to the lake where he tied us off to a tree, as if we were misbehaving puppies.
