Lucid Dreamings is a poem that I wrote which is a combination of two poems woven together. One poem is 'the dream' and the other is the realization of that dream, and all dreams. The dream portrayed is a food landscape, where "great mountains of cookies rise covered in fudge". The realization of the dream focuses on understanding a dream and reality as it applies to dreaming.
There are nine stanzas of four, then eight, lines each. The five four line stanzas rhyme ABAB (and each third line starts with 'here') with eleven syllable count on the A lines and a syllable count of eight on the B lines. The four six line stanzas rhyme ABCABC with the A and B lines having a five syllable count and the C lines having seven syllables.
The structure of nine stanzas has been broken up into nine chapter breaks, but each stanza has had its lines split-apart in order to preserve the intent (the pacing) of each line, and thus each line may be given its own page; there may be instances, however, where managing the evolution of the poem in your mind, some lines have been split into multiple pages, or, multiple lines of a stanza remain on the same page (making it so a chapter is not necessarily equal to the count of lines of a stanza).
