A man has got to do, what a man has got to do…

Or does he?

Tom Cantem is a disaffected millennial who works at the Shire of Jundedale. His job is to resolve petty neighbourhood disputes and placate the occasional deluded psychotic. The one thing Tom finds less satisfying than a day at the office, is an evening spent at home with Raine: his chronically depressed wife. He’s incapable of seducing her, and powerless to curb her manic spending sprees. So when Raine racks up a sizable credit debt, Tom starts wondering if a life of sexless servitude and loan repayments is really for him. Should he man-up, swallow another vitex pill, and head back to the office? Or should he man-out, tender his resignation, and walk out on his wife?

After a careful examination of his options, Tom decides to man-out. But as he starts plotting an escape route from his dysfunctional marriage, domestic life begins to crumble around him, and if he doesn’t extricate himself carefully, his volatile wife might just hold him to his wedding vow: until death do us part.
