My story is about a young ten year old who decided to go for a stroll into his local forest one Autumn morning. The wind starts blowing but becomes too strong for him to bear, he crawls inside a fallen tree trunk then falls asleep. He wakes up and begins walking along a path and discovers that the forest is dark and lifeless  except for the trees. The trees have faces and can talk. They tell Marley that they have been cursed by the forest witch who still walks through the forest. She is not the normal looking witch that Marley expected but a figure of beauty.

She tells Marley, the young adventurer, for the curse to be reversed he must retrieve' The Map Stone' and bring back to the forest 'The Red Leaf of Ortom'. She  tells him that there are obstacles in the way that he must to overcome.

Marley overcomes the obstacles and returns back to the forest with the 'Map Stone' and 'The Red leaf of Ortom'. The witch lifts the curse, just as his adventure finishes the wind starts blowing and he struggles standing up, he crawls back into the trunk, he then falls asleep. When he wakes he finds that the forest is back to normal trees are green, birds are singing and the sun is shining. Marley returns home, there is a slight twist to the end of his adventure
