What is the nature of self?
What does Mastery imply?
The meaning is intuited rather than intellectually understood. Mastery of Self leads to "Beyond the Person".
Behavior at the level of Mastery is not related to conditioned thinking. Watching thought is a key to comprehending the road to Mastery of Self.
When one looks very closely at what it is that we are in essence, we cannot really come up with any reasonable answer. If we permit an 'idea' of mastery of self to be defined by limited thought then the imagination will come up with all sorts of "fantastic" explanations. But, none of those explanations are valid as we soon find out upon deeper inquiry into self.
It is by means of such inquiry that we can get "a glimpse", "an inkling", perhaps, of the very nature of the way of Mastery of self.
