Startled by a raccoon, my hot, pregnant, younger next-door neighbor dropped her groceries and screamed. After chasing off the critter, she in vited me in for dinner as thanks.

It had been a long hard day at the office and I was sitting in my lounge chair by my pool, reading the latest Stephen King novel just relaxing with my big toe splashing the water.
I was also tired as hell and was beginning to nod off when I heard a loud crash. Followed by a loud, high pitched scream.
That's Jessica! I said as I dropped the book in the water and leapt over the fence to find out what she was screaming about.
"Oh my god!" She said as she pointed to the trash barrel. With my heart beating fiercely in my chest, I surveyed the situation. She had dropped the bag of groceries on the ground and there was definitely something inside her trash can.
"Oh Don!" She clutched her hands to her chest as panic overcame her. "Please do something about whatever is in there! I'll be forever in your debt." She looked up at me with her stunning, beautiful blue eyes, imploring me. I felt myself grow both weak at the knees and two inches taller that she would look to me for protection. I guess being an older guy she looked at me as a fatherly figure.
"Sure, I'll see what I can do." I kind of had an idea of what might be in the trash can, but I had to put on a brave face for my neighbor. She may not have been exactly helpless, but she was pregnant and I didn't want her to strain herself too much.
"Grab a broom!" I said as I move closer to the rattling trash can. She unlocked the door, went inside and brought one out. I quickly grabbed it, lifted off the lid and poked the broom inside. Instantly, a large raccoon jumped out and scurried away.
My 19 year-old pregnant neighbor, Jessica, threw her arms around me and thanked me profusely for - in her words - saving her from that terrible beast. I tried to tell her that it was just a harmless raccoon, but she wouldn't have any of it.
"Don," she put her hand over her forehead. "I think I'm starting to feel a bit woozy. Do you mind if I go inside and lay down for a bit?"
