Chantel Deneuve, a half-witch who refuses to accept her genetic inheritance, lives in the quiet cottage town of East Hill, Florida. She and her young daughters, Aria and Lucia, lead a tranquil life until one dark night a vampire, Riordan "Rio" Martainn, shows up at their doorstep and invites himself inside. Rio explains that King Murdoc and his minions are coming to take a stolen treasure, the Blue-Star, away from Chantel. The only problem, Chantel has no idea what the Blue-Star is or where it's hidden. Rio vows to help Chantel find the jewel in order to return it, not to Murdoc, but to the rightful owner, Sabilla, an angry lady dragon. A dog named Jake and an assortment of other-wordly characters join in the quest. Will they discover the Blue-Star before it's too late? In the end, will Chantel and Rio find a shared love?
