Moving On With Hope is author Mark Evison’s second book of poetry taking the reader on a very different journey from his previously released collection of poems, Hope.

Hope was written after Mark’s battle with mental health issues. As part of his therapy programme his counsellor suggested he put pen to paper allowing his readers to delve into the darkest periods of his life.

Moving On With Hope is Mark’s next step on his journey showing his renewed zest for life but maintaining his frustrations at the world around him.

Originally from Prestwick in Scotland, Mark has been living in Belfast, Northern Ireland for a decade.

Influenced by the likes of Charles Bukowski, John Steinbeck, Seamus Heaney and Patrick Magill, once again Mark’s unique and frank approach brings to life his everyday observations in a humorous and emotive manner.
