But Fate intervenes in the form of an urgent message summoning Elizabeth back home, and to a scandal that could ruin all their lives forever.

Now that Lydia has left the family wallowing in disgrace and riddled with scandal, Elizabeth is even more certain than ever that she did the right thing by rejecting Mr. DarCy’s proposal.
