Mr. Wood always longed for adventure, but now that he's on one, he just wants to go home. More specifically, he wants to go home alive.

What started as a boring day at school became very decidedly not-boring when a magic portal sucked Wood and his students right out of their classroom. Now they're in a world where creatures walk, talk, and could possibly kill them.

Tyrannous toads have dominated a town of peaceful creatures, and Wood and his students have a conflict of interests. Wood just wants to get his students home safely, but the students want to help fight the toads. Unfortunately for Wood, the only creature who knows of the magic that brought them here has been captured by the toads. Unfortunately for the students, when Wood sets out on a haphazard rescue mission, he makes them stay behind.

Not to be left out, the students sneak off on their own, and, soon enough, teacher and student alike are fighting for their lives on this very big adventure.
