CD Grimes is a multimillionaire PI, Nick Storie is a homicide cop, and Clint Faraday is a retired PI fro, Florida who has moved to Bocas del Toro, Panama. The works are more or less like the English style. No graphic sex or violence. The detectives are problem solvers, not violence freaks. They all become more pragmatic as time goes by. The CD Grimes story is with the new CD's grandfather, and is more in the style of the sixties. The Clint Faraday stories incorporate the culture of the Ngobe in a lot of cases.
