I wrote this story for people to explore their dark emotions. My ministry, adifferentkindofstorybook, was developed to help addicts of all kinds and their loved ones to look inside of themselves and find what we refer to as the "IT". Through our own personal experiences we have an insight and truly understand their struggles along their journey. We have developed a program through the power of THE STORY and created 2 decks of cards that help our participants open up and begin to talk. I have written 50 short stories about the journey of addiction. We partner with our local county detention center and our local county drug court program which includes our local veterans treatment program. We are honored to be just one ingredient in the gumbo of fighting addiction. Your support of our ministry will enable us to continue and to move into new and needed areas in the future. Thank you. Love & Peace, Brother Charles.
