About the Author
Growing up I had never considered the path I would take, down a long, lonely, road of suffering ,enveloped in a sea of drugs and alcohol thinking of suicide constantly, full of remorse and self pity, all I wanted was for the emotional pain to end. I had no idea I was suffering from alcoholism starting out as the life of the party, accomplished at everything I attempted, well liked by all. The end had finally arrived, the house was surrounded by police, I took my hand gun ,placed it in my mouth and pulled the trigger. Sober (40) years now after a series of miracles that completely transformed me from hopeless and helpless to a man full of life, peace and happiness. My life's work to cary a message of ,"HOPE", to everyone in the throws of addiction or PTSD. By giving away the gift you get to keep it. Seventy, survivor, married 20 years to my sou mate, two rescued dogs, life is great.
