My Wife Says . . . is a book about life, my life, and the humor that has found its way into it. Most of that humor comes from my wife, Carrie, and my daughter, Chantelle. Carrie’s often unintentional wit, that I like to call “Carrieisms,” tends to keep people in stitches and was the basis for this book. But the more Chantelle grew, the more like her mother she became and the more she found her way into it as well. Then I added a few more stories about other family members and it became My Life with Carrie: A Book of Carrisims and Other Tidbits Too. I felt that title was too wordy so I shortened it to My Wife Says . . . As I wrote this book I realized that my life is not without humor. A couple of my friends have said that this book offers the reader a glimpse into our family’s daily life and the love that we share for each other and many agree that it would make a funny TV sitcom. So here it is, a collection of short stories and tidbits from our everyday life together, all true and sure to keep you laughing. So relax, read, laugh, and enjoy the humor that is My Wife Says . . .
