I didn’t have a watch on and I kept wondering what time it was and how long I had been in that dark woods. All of a sudden I felt tired and so I dropped to my knees to rest a little. And as quickly as it started, the rain stopped and the lightening quit. My legs and knees were wet and I started to get a little uncomfortable. And the light from the full moon made it seem as midday, now. I could see all around me and more and more deer became visible. The leaves from the trees glistened. I was an intense moment.
And then from out of the starry heavens the most beautiful rain bow was appearing across the southeast sky, below the moon. It was enormous and the colors were so pure. I had never in my life seen the rain bow with such lavish bright colors. The yellow full moon and the large rainbow were competing for attention. And from out of the dark sky a belated loud crack of thunder sounded and scared the hell out of me. And the deer all sprang up and about and running.
I hadn’t seen any fire shoot down from the heavens. Lightening yes, but the fire that I had asked for did not arrive. They say when you want to talk to the Most High, one prays. And when you want to hear from the Most High, one meditates.
