New Start Ranch is the story of three people who meet when they are children, in an orphanage. Bill and Dick become as close as any brothers. When Rhonda is brought to the orphanage as a five year old the three of them become inseparable. When they turn eighteen the boys have to leave the orphanage and join the army. When Rhonda turns eighteen and has to leave the orphanage Dick marries her and Bill has to be satisfied with being there for Rhonda and her son Tyler while Dick is never home to be a father and husband. Bill has been in love with Rhonda since he was sixteen, but had to forget his feelings and be a surrogate father for Tyler as he grows up. Dick's tragic death on the police force and Rhonda and Tyler's disappearance worries Bill until he runs into them again in Hidden Valley and then their lives begin to work out the way God had planned for them with the help of their friends in Hidden Valley and their faith in God. Their life is put in turmoil when Dick's past is exposed concerning his time as an undercover officer and Bill and Rhonda have to straighten out the problems it causes. Their love for each other and faith in God gets them through it all and they become the family they were meant to be.
