Audrey Philips is trying to get her life back on track. She has a job interview lined up, and she's attending classes at her local community college. Unfortunately, she is going to fail one of her classes. She approaches the professor, Victor, to request extra-credit. Victor has no interest in grading extra credit papers, but there is one thing he wouldn't mind getting from Audrey.
In spite of a tense interview, Audrey gets the job, and starts working at a law firm as a floating secretary. A handsome young associate, Richard, takes her under his wing, offering to help her get acclimated. Their initial friendship is hampered by Gloria, his jealous ex-girlfriend and head of human resources at the firm. Audrey tries to balance her desire to keep her new job with her desire to keep her new friend.
Audrey must choose between the two men. One who offers abundant sexual release, and one who offers the potential of true love. Can she wade through the mire of jealousy, gossip, and psychotic exes, and find love on the other side?
