Now, Here’s the Rest of the Story is a book about the parables that Jesus taught. There are seventy parables in the New Testament. I am choosing to talk about the 49 that Jesus taught.

Now, Here’s the Rest of the Story gives a simple explanation of the parables which are short stories that Jesus told to impart instruction and rebuke without offense. Anyone who has never heard or studied the parables, the new or the seasoned Christian, could easily have a better understanding of what Jesus actually taught. It shows us how to apply His teachings to our present everyday life. Each parable should help us to have a better and more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Now, Here’s the Rest of the Story is designed so that it can be used as a Bible study, a Sunday School curriculum, or Pastors can use it as a series of sermons.

Some of the parables get into the culture of that day, so that the reader can better understand the parable. It is my prayer that all who read this book will come away with a closer more personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
