A clear and comprehensive guide to protecting yourself and your family in the case of a large-scale nuclear attack or accident, the concise e-book provides critical information about the most likely nuclear threats – from dirty bombs to a nuclear reactor meltdown -- and explains the basic steps to take before, during, and after a terrorist attack or other emergency situation.
Nuclear Disaster includes complete and precise information about different atomic weapons and accidents including the symptoms, the emergency response you should take, testing and diagnosis, treatment, special precautions, and preparation tips. It also includes special sections for the care of children, pregnant women, and pets.
Armed with information, you could save your life and the lives of others. Awareness, preparation, and effective rapid response are critical, not only for first responders – the police, fire departments, paramedics, hospital personnel, and other emergency service staff – but for the people who will truly be first on the scene: ordinary citizens. Based on what you read in this book, you may be the one who identifies the symptoms or knows what do during a nuclear incident. This book – as well as the author’s other e-books, Bioterrorism and Chemical Disaster – will help everyone become better aware of potential threats and better carry out our roles. There is no weapon more effective than information.
