My mornings used to start with the ringing of my alarm clock, closely followed by the arrival of a ghostly sexual predator, but things had changed in the last month and a half. These days the predator proceeded the alarm.
R.J. takes the new ghost hunter to a hospital, where patrons are being haunted by a sadistic ex-nurse. She’s easy to find but proves difficult to subdue. Can they satisfy her before things get dangerous?
EXCERPT:
“Oh sorry!” said a voice from behind me.
I whirled, forgetting I was still only wearing my underwear, the pink shirt only partially buttoned. A girl in the same pink shirt and black pants of a hospital volunteer stood at the door, a tray at the ready to be loaded full of linens. “I didn’t realize anyone was in here.”
My face flushed as her eyes grazed over my body, and then flushed harder when she looked past me to R.J., who I knew was still standing brazenly naked by the dryer. She visibly reacted, eyebrows fleeing up to grace her hairline. “Get a little wet on the way in?” she asked.
“I know I did,” said R.J., and her voice was the husky dark sound that I knew so well. I glanced back to see her trading admiring looks with the girl. “Did you?”
