“Offerings” is a collection of short poems. It is a vivid manifestation of the poets love and admiration of nature and identification of virtues with aspects of natural processes. It also demonstrates the poets desire to bring awareness to social issues like “Girl Child” and “Beggar Problem” as well as “Deforestation”.
Smt. Pushpa Chadha hails from a Delhi based Punjabi family, now settled in Mumbai (Bombay). She graduated from the Isbella Thoburn College, Lucknow, majoring in Philosophy, English and Hindi, She is fond of reading and writing.
Her poems have been published in various magazines as well as in anthologies published by the National Library of poetry, USA for which she received the Editor’s Choice Award. Smt. Chadha pursued the Manipuri and Kathak style of Indian dancing and performed before select audiences. She also worked with social organizations helping handicapped and destitute children.
