About Out of Due Season
Dale Spooner built two houses out of love for Starletta Free Carman Spooner. Starletta came to the house as a bride where later her children were born and raised. Over twenty years of marriage, love, laughter, hopes and dreams had been shared within the walls of the house. Then Dale passed away before they could move into the second house he had built for her. The new house sits so grand but silent and empty. It sits as if waiting; patiently waiting. It waits to fulfill its purpose. It waits to become a safe haven. It waits to become a "House of Hope." Out of Due Season is the first book from the "House of Hope" series.
About the Author
As a child, Dela Brown Aultman dreamed of becoming an opera singer and concert pianist. She never dreamed of becoming an author on one book let alone a series of 10 books entitled "House of Hope." Early in life she began reading and living in day dreams. There were times that she would hide away and read three or four books during the day. Reading 25-30 books per week was not uncommon for Dela. Her favorite author was Grace Linvingston Hill, whose skill of intertwining fiction with simple truths from the Bible inspired and directed Dela to search through the greatest book for mankind, the Bible. Dela began her own personal relationship with Jesus, and it is her heart's desire to not just tell a good story, but to share her faith and hope with each one who reads her books. It is her deire that you enjoy this first book for the "House of Hope" series, Out of Due Season.
