'Ovoid Diaspora' follows the main characters introduced in 'Ovoid, Illinois – Fictionalized Accounts of Inconsequential People'. Meanwhile, the town of Ovoid holds an election with a surprising dark horse in the running as Cher's father, Bud, tries to regain the mayoralty and a New Age religious cult prepares for extra-terrestrial redemption.
