He had it all – love, fame, and success – and fate took away the most important part.
He ran away to hide and fate found him again.
He learned that you can have it all and lose it.
Fate again has him…
Paddling Upstream
Michael was an author hiding behind a pen name. He had it all - love, fame and success. Then cancer took his wife away from him. Distraught over her death, he bought a house in a small town in Louisiana and planned to spend the rest of his life in seclusion. A woman with a canoe met him and was determined to draw him out, and learn his secret. Aided by a friend who made a secret pledge to his dying wife to watch over him, Michael struggles. His devotion to his dead wife conflicts with feelings for the new woman. Can he let himself love again? Will the secrets they each hold keep them apart or bring them together?
This book is erotic romance, but the sex doesn't appear until Chapter 4.

An Example of Art BEING Reality

This story is great, in part, because the characters are made so real, so life-like. You can almost hear their voices, and see their facial expressions. It takes considerable talent, and serious effort to craft fiction that is this realistic. I'm fascinated, watching the characters grow and come alive as the story progresses.

I normally don't read the novels but I read the first chapter of PADDLING UPSTREAM and was hooked on it. I can't say enough good things about the story. I am still hooked on the story and have re-read everything (except the final chapter) several times.
May Linsey, Michael, and Amanda continue to warm the hearts of all those who read the story for a long time.
Thank you again.
